Our Story

The Joy Providers team creates amazing experiences for children who live with medically complex illnesses that affect every aspect of their lives. We count with volunteers, donors, sponsors, medical professionals, businesses and our community to ensure we “prescribe joy” to these special kids and their families.

About Founder Yasit Sanchez
Yasit’s best friend Danny joined a group of healthcare professionals and began a PPEC (Prescribed Pediactric Extended Care) Center in the heart of Miami to provide health and educational services to children who have medical conditions that prevent them from attending typical schools. These children, who most come from low to moderate income families, inspired Yasit to form Joy Providers to grant them with special experiences that their families simply don’t have the means to provide.
